Happy MARCH! I can’t believe February has come and gone – HOW.

Time flies when you’re having fun! Or when you’re sleep deprived and cracked out on coffee and chasing little people around, haha. Here, once again, my darlings are my favorites from the month of February!

Avant Gauze

When Fox was born we were given gauze pads to care for his circumcision but have since found two uses for them: baby wipes and makeup remover pads. These gauze pads are awesome when wet and have replaced diaper wipes for Fox since he has had diaper rash issues (tear). I love knowing that I’m using water and only water on his skin when we change. The second use I’m even more excited about! I have replaced cotton pads with this gauze for washing my face and removing my makeup with micellar water. Cotton tends to be fiberous and I always end up getting tiny bits in my eyes. The gauze? Ain’t no thang, honey.

I’ve been using Bioderma micellar water to remove my makeup for the last month and I don’t think I will ever look back (I’m giving you the side eye, Neutrogena makeup remover cloths). Bioderma completely removes my makeup without leaving a film of oil on my skin and doesn’t irritate my eyes in the least. I use it to remove makeup but I also use it to freshen up my skin and remove dirt even when not using makeup. I love that I don’t have to rinse anything off my skin and, of course, that it’s fragrance free and hypoallergenic. HOLLA. You can read more about micellar water here.

Does this even require an explanation? The new season is amazeballs and I honestly think my life will forever be an ongoing XFILES marathon until Netflix gets rid of it. At which point, I will tell Netflix to fuck off.

Angry Orchard Cider

I’ve been craving beer but EVERYtime I open one (since having Harrison Fox) I can’t get passed the first few sips. This, I’m sure you understand, is a major bummer because I am a true lover of beer. However, Angry Orchard has filled my desire for beer without being as intense as beer – plus, it’s just delicious.

We try to eat as vegetarian/vegan as possible – including protein powders. Some plant based powders are straight up funky, but this is the best. Vega One is vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO (YAAAASSSSS), and I make smoothies win it on the daily. It taste good and I like to mix it with banana, berries, coconut oil, and almond milk. I would list all the amazingness in it but will spare you and let you check it out for yourself – just know that its the bomb dot com and you can get at the grocery store and Amazon.
